Each formula is created by Christian Toscano, a clinically trained Herbalist, Midwife and Doula. She customizes each formula with an emphasis on the plant’s medicinal properties.

JASMINE         

(Jasminum grandiflorum)  an evergreen shrub with star shapes flowers. in parts of asia a good hostess makes sure to have jasmine on hand to give to inebriated guests to clear their heads.

PATCHOULI    

(Pogostemon cablin) sweet spicy aroma, with a hint of musk, used to stimulate the nervous system, lift depressed moods, relieve stress and give a feeling of elation and wellbeing.

SANDALWOOD  

(Santalum spicatum) natural antiseptic, astringent, sedative & aphrodisiac.

FRANKINCENSE  

(Boswellia carteri) sweet, warm, elevating & stimulating to the mind. useful for visualizing, improving one’s spiritual connection, and centering. considered a holy anointing oil used in ceremonies for thousands of years during prayer and meditation.

VETIVER                

(Vetiveria zizanoides) nourishing, strengthening and grounding. belonging to a family that feeds the world, the roots reflect this richness and produce it’s scent.

ROSE                 

(Rosa damascena) elevating to the mind and spirit is considered the premier oil for allowing heart centered contact and outlook. revered throughout history as the ultimate luxury oil as it takes about 60 roses to produce one drop of oil! 

YLANG YLANG 

 (Cananga odorata) translates to “flower of flowers” and is an exotic, aphrodisiac floral.  native to tropical asia, the oil is pressed from the tree’s flowers. in indonesia, the petals are often strewn across a marriage bed for it’s calming and relaxing properties.


CEDARWOOD      

(Juniperus virginiana) used by both the ancient Egyptians and Greeks in the embalming process and as a perfume and cosmetic ingredient. They believed that it helped to make one immortal. Provides a cooling, refreshing & stimulating feeling.

GRAPEFRUIT      

(Citrus paradisi) uplifting and invigorating, it is believed to relieve nervousness and depression while boosting one’s self-esteem.

MYRRH            

(Commiphora myrrha) comes from the Arabic word morr which means “bitter.” Used in purification rituals to beautify the women who were presented before a King.

LEMONGRASS

(Cymbopogon citratus) uplifting, refreshing and revitalizing scent was used to preserve ancient palm-leaf manuscripts in india.


BERGAMOT 

(Citrus bergamia) provides a floral, fruity aroma. Uplifting, relaxing, refreshingly astringent.

CLARY SAGE             

(Salvia sclarea) sweet, nutty and floral scent creates a sense of euphoria. 16th century englanders used it in beer and wine to heighten the effects of alcohol.

CLOVE

 (Syzygium aromaticum) is one of the oldest aromatic spices of the world, having many therapeutic virtues.

JOJOBA OIL             

non-greasy natural anti-oxidant, wonderful for your skin because it has absorption properties like our skin’s own sebum.

BEESWAX

secreted by hard working honey bees, helps create a bond of moisture to your skin.

We are ecologically conscious in our work and always select sustainably harvested sources of the finest ingredients. We want our products to be as healthy for the planet as they are for our customers.

As a small company, our footprint is very small, and we are dedicated to being an environmentally safe and sustainable company.  Everything in our packaging is reusable and recyclable. We are opposed to dangerous synthetics of any kind and prefer the safety of glass packaging to plastic. Using natural cotton bags, glass, tin containers and sea shell compacts; we pride ourselves on containers good for repurposing. 

Storing

Because our formulas only contain natural ingredients without any synthetic or artificial preservatives, we recommend storing our perfumes in a cool, dim place, away from direct sunlight and heat. It is best to use the perfumes within 12 months of purchasing them.
