practices Western Herbalism. She believes health care starts with oneself and that we have the ability to make decisions in our approach to health care.

 

Focusing on a harm reductionist approach, diet and herbal medicines as nourishing agents,  customizes all formulas to each individual. Pulling from Ayurvedic traditions, Traditional Chinese Medicine, Folk Herbalism and Western Herbalism she offers constitutional assessment combined with customized formulas.

 

From 2009-2011 she studied and apprenticed with Clinical Herbalist 7Song, Director of the Northeast School of Botanical Medicine and Director of Holistic Medicine at the Ithaca Free Clinic. Under guidance of 7Song, she assisted him during consultations at the Ithaca Free Clinic, an integrative community health clinic which provides free health care services to all.

 

Christian works to cultivate and wildcraft most of the herbs offered. She is also a trained Doula and offers this service combined with herbal support for pregnancy and childbirth. She is currently training to become a Midwife and  works as a women’s health educator in her community.

 

Consultations are priced on a sliding scale based on income. Initial consultations are 1-1.5 hours in length. With the belief that everybody has the right to health care, nobody will be denied based on income.
